Chill out track with a smooth vocal playing in the background while you and your shorty cuddled. Glasses of wine clinging while you exchange love vows. The sweet voice makes you both dream of the future. That voice belongs to Bryson Tiller, the new king of T R A P S O U L.
This 22 years old American R&B singer/Rapper, gain prominence with the released of his single, [Don’t] on Soundcloud a year ago. Last month, he released his début album, T R A P S O U L on RCA label with 13 and half hot tracks that include also [Don’t] and they are killing the internet now. Not the usual type of album you buy and only one track sounds nice. Every single track on the album is worth listening to. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed as I am yet to see a complete album since real music back in the 80’s and 90’s.
Bryson Tiller is not new to the game though. In 2011, he released a mixtape, [Killer Instinct], which got a few buzz here and there but this new album is opening that door for him now. And it shows how he has grown from a local underground artist too soon to be an international star.
My lyrics. I listen to a lot of songs and they aren’t talking about anything. I don’t connect with them. I’ll listen to something like Musiq Soulchild’s “Just Friends,” and I’m like, “Wow, I really feel what he’s talking about.” That’s how I want people to feel about my music – Bryson Tiller on Vibe mag
Bryson Tiller is arguably one of the most gifted talents this new generation has produced. Trapsoul is his new genre that everyone has to follow (including copying artists- you know them, don’t you?). Lastly, Bryson Tiller is that new voice since August Alsina. Drake, Timbaland, and +350 million other music lovers knew that.
